Dance Classes

Rachel's Line dance team

"The Sharpsburg Country-Western Line Dance Show Team", has danced for 30+ years with classes and team rehearsals in the Community Center, along with her popular Clogging Team, starting with  Mayor Willingham and then Mayor Alvin Arrowood, the late Mayor Wendell Staley and now our present Mayor Blue Cole.

They performed all over Ga. as well as Nashville, Tenn., and their three favorite events were the annual Sharpsburg Festival, Powers Crossroads, and Cotton Pickin' Fair.  They love to entertain for Charity Events and may be contacted if you are interested.

They also teach Ballroom Dance,  (swing, waltz, foxtrot, Latin, and Texas Two Step and other Country partners dances.) All ages, through retired, are involved for a lot of fun and great exercise, as well as a social outlet, and they also sponsor a monthly line dance pot-luck dinner- dance party.  Great facility, great dance floor, great people, right here in the community.

Beverly, her daughter, has danced since 4 yrs. old and is also certified in Zumba.  Both choreograph beautiful dances for Bride/Groom,  Father/Daughter, and more.

Rachel's Dance Connection initiated "Coweta Dancing Stars" charity event in 2008, doing 5 annual shows, and now "Fayette Dancing Stars", for 6 years and organizing 2020.

They may be contacted at 770-487-8611;;  Classes in Sharpsburg are all on-going with sessions on either 6 weeks basis, or monthly.
